Indiana Choice Scholarship Program Eligibility Requirements 2026-27 School Year
Indiana is committed to providing all children access to quality educational opportunities. Indiana’s Choice Scholarship Program (ICSP), commonly referred to as the voucher program, (authorized under IC 20-51 and IC 20-51-4) provides scholarships to eligible Indiana students in grades K-12 to offset tuition costs at participating schools. The American Academy – Indiana is a participating Choice school serving students in grades K-12.
In accordance with IC 20-51 and IAC 512 (4), to be eligible to receive a Choice Scholarship award, a student must satisfy each of the following requirements:
- The student must have legal settlement in Indiana;
- The minimum age for enrollment with The American Academy – Indiana is 5 years, with a maximum age of 22 years of age on or before October 1 of the school year;
- The student must be a member of a household with an annual income of not more than 400% of the amount required for the individual to qualify for the federal free or reduced-price lunch program, if applying prior to July 1, 2026. Those who apply after July 1, 2026 are not subject to household income eligibility balance.
